Connect Claude
Set up Claude and update an existing connector to /mcp/account.
Use the account endpoint for trip planning
Copy this URL when connecting Claude to your Room Saint account:
https://www.roomsaint.com/mcp/accountMake sure your Room Saint email is verified. For public hotel discovery only, use https://www.roomsaint.com/mcp instead; that connection cannot save hotels or view trips.
Add the connection in Claude
- Open Claude's Customize → Connectors area.
- Choose +, then Add custom connector. Enter the Room Saint name and endpoint above.
- Add the connector, then select Connect if prompted. Complete Room Saint's sign-in and authorization flow.
- In a conversation, enable Room Saint from Claude's connector/tools menu.
Leave manual OAuth client credentials blank for the standard connection. Team or Enterprise users may need an organization owner to add the connector first. Follow Claude's current connector instructions if menu labels or account availability differ.
Replace an older Room Saint connector
If the existing connection uses /mcp and you need trips, remove it in Claude and add it again with /mcp/account. Claude's documentation says custom connector details are changed by removing and re-adding the connection. Reauthorize Room Saint and start a fresh conversation.
Verify that it worked
Ask: “Use Room Saint to list my trips.” An account connection exposes manage-trips and save-hotel-to-trip. If Claude sees only tools such as search_hotels, it is using public discovery. If it cannot save, check the URL, authorization, and enabled tools.
Removing a connector does not delete your Room Saint trips. Review any proposed account changes before allowing them.
